Politics and Governance

Certified Political Analyst Program

This program is founded on the definition of politics by Dr. Michaella Michael: "Politics is the superior knowledge of men to govern ourselves, which is founded on the condition: who gets this and why? Hence the superior knowledge of men to govern ourselves will never be fair, because it is founded on interest. Therefore political will forever be a bone of contention, and it is a call for every individual to participate in politics to fight/protect their rights." This program trains students to become professional Political Analysts who can analyze the political behavior of politicians, governments, and institutions worldwide using the Constitution and Rule of Law as the yardstick. Students learn to distinguish between decisions made for public interest vs personal/party/selfish interest and to advise both governments and communities on lawful, constitutional responses. The course uses global case studies from Africa, Asia, Europe, Americas, and Middle East to teach universal patterns of power, policy, and democracy. Upon completion, graduates will be certified by ASPG University as Certified Political Analysts.

Government Court vs Traditional Court

Every community has conflict. The question is where do we take it. Many people are confused. Some go to the chief for murder. Some go to police for family land. This causes delay, anger, and broken relationships. This short course teaches community leaders the difference between Government Court and Traditional Court. You will learn when to use each system, how to avoid corruption and forum shopping, and how to strengthen Traditional Courts so they serve people with fairness and dignity. This course is not about choosing one side. It is about using wisdom so both systems bring peace. Through research, case studies, and community dialogue, you will build thinking capacity and take real action in your community.

Policy Development and Analysis for African Communities

Course Summary: This short course teaches community leaders, students, NGOs, and young innovators how to develop and analyze policy from an African perspective. Instead of copying policy from other countries, we build policy from what God gave Africa: our people, our belief and culture, our natural resources, our economy, and our trade. Students will learn the full policy cycle and how to use the 5-Pillar African Policy Framework to solve real problems in health, education, land, economy, and community justice. The course connects traditional wisdom with modern tools including AI and international trade policy. By the end, each student will draft a policy brief for their own community

Certificate in Administrative Justice For African Government Officials

Government decisions affect people’s lives, jobs, money and rights every day. But many decisions are challenged, overturned, or cause lawsuits because they are not lawful, reasonable or fair. This 6-week course equips public officials, managers, and governance leaders across Africa with practical tools to make decisions that meet constitutional standards and prevent legal risk. Using African constitutions, real court cases from 54 nations, and the ASPG 10-Point Checklist, you will learn how to apply administrative justice in your daily work. From drafting lawful decisions, to avoiding common errors, to responding to legal challenges, this course turns constitutional principles into office procedures. No law degree required. This is practical, step-by-step training designed for government departments, agencies, councils, and public institutions. By the end, you will have a complete Department Administrative Justice Compliance Plan ready to implement. Delivered by: African School of Public Governance - ASPG
