Certified Political Analyst Program
This program is founded on the definition of politics by Dr. Michaella Michael: "Politics is the superior knowledge of men to govern ourselves, which is founded on the condition: who gets this and why? Hence the superior knowledge of men to govern ourselves will never be fair, because it is founded on interest. Therefore political will forever be a bone of contention, and it is a call for every individual to participate in politics to fight/protect their rights." This program trains students to become professional Political Analysts who can analyze the political behavior of politicians, governments, and institutions worldwide using the Constitution and Rule of Law as the yardstick. Students learn to distinguish between decisions made for public interest vs personal/party/selfish interest and to advise both governments and communities on lawful, constitutional responses. The course uses global case studies from Africa, Asia, Europe, Americas, and Middle East to teach universal patterns of power, policy, and democracy. Upon completion, graduates will be certified by ASPG University as Certified Political Analysts.
COURSE OBJECTIVE
By the end of this 24-week program, students will be able to:
1. Define politics using Dr. Michaella Michael’s definition and apply it to analyze any political decision
2. Explain the origin of politics, key political thinkers, and the impact of ideologies on governance
3. Apply a 4-Step Framework to analyze political behavior, constitutional compliance, impact, and give advice
4. Compare political systems and governance models worldwide and assess their impact on citizens
5. Use constitutions and human rights law to evaluate government actions
6. Analyze real global case studies and produce professional political analysis reports
7. Communicate findings to government, media, and citizens ethically and objectively
8. Work professionally as Policy Advisors, Governance Consultants, Civic Educators, and Research Analysts
Certification Requirements
To be certified by ASPG University as a Certified Political Analyst, a student must:
1. Complete all 6 Modules and submit all assignments
2. Pass 6 Module Assessments with 70 percent
3. Pass the Final Certification Assessment with 70 percent
4. Submit and Defend Final Capstone Project with 70 percent
5. Achieve 70 percent overall average
Certified Political Analysts will be able to:
1. Apply Dr. Michaella Michael’s definition to analyze any political decision
2. Test any law, policy, or government decision against the constitution
3. Write professional analysis reports with recommendations
4. Teach communities their constitutional rights and legal methods of accountability
5. Work in government, NGOs, media, think tanks, and research
