I did not write this book to argue. I wrote it because my heart is heavy.
I have watched Africa bleed. I have watched our young people die in deserts and drown in seas, all looking for bread. I have watched crime grow faster than schools. I have watched leaders eat and the people starve. I have watched us talk about unity while our houses are falling.
The question of borders has come up again. Some say open them. Some say close them. But few are asking the deeper question: are we ready?
